Who we are

Temptimate Essentials Limited operates temptimate.com. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you browse our website, create an account, buy from us, subscribe to products or contact customer service.

Information we collect and use

Depending on how you use our services, we collect:

Your name, email address, telephone number, billing address and delivery details
Account information and records of your purchases, payments and customer-service enquiries
Subscription details, including your selected products, renewal schedule and account instructions
Messages and other information you choose to send us, including through our website chat
Reviews you choose to submit; published review content and the name displayed with it are visible to other website visitors
Website-use information, such as referral sources, pages viewed during a visit, browser and device information, and cookie identifiers

We use order and contact information to process purchases, arrange delivery, manage accounts and subscriptions, communicate about orders and respond to enquiries. Processing needed to provide these requested services is based on our contract with you or steps you request before making a purchase.

Our website also uses technical and analytics features to operate shopping and account functions and understand how visitors reach and use the store. These features are described below.

Payments and subscriptions

Payments are processed through Paystack. Paystack receives the information needed for its payment service, and we receive payment information associated with the order, such as its status and transaction reference. Recurring payments use payment authorisations to support the subscription you select.

Pausing or cancelling a subscription does not automatically erase your account, order or payment records. You can contact us separately about your personal information.

Please do not send card numbers, card security codes, banking passwords or PINs through customer-service messages or order notes.

Service providers and delivery

We use service providers to help deliver orders and operate the website:

Delivery and logistics partners receive relevant recipient contact details, delivery addresses and instructions to fulfil orders. The partners we use may change from time to time
Paystack provides payment processing
GoDaddy provides hosting-related infrastructure and website traffic tools
Zoho SalesIQ provides the website chat service
Google analytics scripts are included on the website for website measurement

These services can receive information relevant to their functions. For example, a chat service receives messages submitted through it, while externally loaded website tools can receive technical information from a visitor’s browser, such as an IP address and browser details.

Some of these providers operate internationally. Our use of their services can involve processing outside Nigeria. Their notices describe their processing locations and arrangements. Cookies and website tools

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Our WordPress and WooCommerce website uses cookies for functions such as managing shopping sessions, keeping track of a cart and maintaining account sign-in.

WooCommerce order attribution is enabled. It uses session information to associate an order with the source that brought a visitor to the store, such as a referring website or campaign. When an order is placed, attribution information can be saved with that order.

The website also includes Zoho SalesIQ chat, Google analytics scripts and GoDaddy traffic tools. Their cookie and technical-data processing depends on the service and features involved. Retention and protection

Our current practice is to retain customer information without a routine deletion schedule. Customer records therefore have no fixed automatic deletion date.

We use safeguards intended to protect the information we hold. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Our retention practice does not remove your rights under applicable data-protection law. You can contact us to ask about your records or make a request concerning them.

Your rights and contact

Subject to applicable law and its conditions, you may request access to your information, correction of inaccurate information, erasure, restriction of processing or a portable copy. You may also object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing personal information. Some records may be retained, or a request limited, where the law permits or requires this.

If you receive marketing messages from us and wish to stop them, contact the same address.
